Wow! Two weeks of school have just finished! The time really flies. The kids are enjoying the new Everyday Math series. It has many hands on and real world activities and connections.
In five weeks we will be at Camp Wahsega 4H Center for our two night field trip. About one half of the students have brought in their permission slips and/or deposits. So far we have five parents coming as chaperones. I will be a fantastic time in the mountains of North Georgia outside of Dahlonega.

Through teaching, my mission is to help students discover the joy and beauty in learning, to see that everyday can be an adventure that has positive value and worth.
I will do my best to teach them how to learn, live, and behave with intelligence, kindness, and honor.
I will help them to realize that through hard work and focus they can accomplish their goals and dreams.
